Compassion for your Critical Inner Voice

I recently attended a course on Compassion Focused Therapy, and one of the most helpful take home messages was working on changing how we engage with our critical inner voice.

Kings Cultural Community published a short film describing a person’s experience dealing with the voices in his mind, and how to use a Compassionate approach to engage differently with them, and in so doing, reclaim his life.

This short film is relevant to anyone who might be experiencing a critical inner voice, and is worth taking a few minutes to watch, and learn few good tips from.

A film about the compassionate approach to relating with voices, with potential for use as a therapeutic, educational, and de-stigmatising tool. This project is a Cultural Institute at King's project led by Dr Charlie Heriot-Maitland, Department of Psychology at King's, in collaboration with Kate Anderson, independent animation director.
